The shamrock plant, standing in the sink, waiting for water. This little plant sits in our back room and I tend to forget about it, although, walking into the room, it's the first thing I look at. The color of the shamrock leaves is so vibrant, it looks lovely even when drooping. The light on the clay pot and bouncing off the sink was just the icing on the cake.

The clouds were paintings
Sat all afternoon the other day on a grassy dune above the diminishing shore watching the clouds create slate-blue and white paintings on the Michigan sky.
