It was cold and overcast on today, but the leaves were changing so we decided to take the new dog (of three months) to Thatcher Woods. We weren't disappointed. The leaves are just beginning to change, the yellows just ripening to ochre, a tinge of red on the tips of some of the oak leaves. Willy absolutely loved it. New smells, rotting smells, mud and leaf mold. I still don't have a pumpkin so I'm going out this afternoon to pick one up along with a mum, if I can find it, for the front porch. The summer flowers are drooping terribly and I should clean out the pots on the front porch.
I feel like I've been stuck lately, getting a bunch of dental work finished, finishing physical therapy for some tendonitis, but I haven't felt inspired to do any photo stuff lately. Hopefully, this week it will come, along with the ripening of autumn.
