It was wickedly cold the other day when my friend, Barb, and I drove out to the Chicago Botanic Garden. We went to see the Woodcut exhbit by Bryan Gill Nash, something you should really take advantage of if you live in the area. Nash makes beautiful, intricate prints from old tree trunks that he finds. The greenhouse was just across the hall from the exhibit and the view of the outside from inside was pretty neat. Also, the smell in the greenhouse was literally like a breathe of spring.
