Just playing here, giving myself permission to try something new. I'd like to add more things to my photos, more collage-type elements and so I tried this the other day on rice paper with encaustic paint.
Reading an old Orion magazine the other day, I found an article by Gretel Erlich about building her home a few years ago in Wyoming. It's in the July, August, 2011 issue if you'd like to look it up. She ended the article with a quote I really liked. It's author is Stonehouse, the fourteenth-century Chinese hermit. He wrote:
"I sweep the steps when the west wind is done/I make a path for the moonlight."
